Nilesh Desai is the Chief Pharmacy Officer for Baptist Health System. In this role, he is responsible for the pharmacy enterprise operations across the nine-hospital system, including oversight of the system’s ambulatory pharmacies, specialty pharmacy, research pharmacy, pharmacy technology and automation, value based care pharmacy, and medication management for all the clinics. In this role, Nilesh has expanded the Clinical Pharmacists team to include specialties such as Emergency Medicine, Organ Transplant, Oncology, Psychiatry, and more. He also has expanded the PGY-1 Pharmacy residency rogram with the addition of a PGY-2 Emergency Medicince Program. Nilesh has also implemented a Transitions of Care program with pharmacist-led medication reconciliation for inpatients and meds to beds for ambulatory patients across the system.

Nilesh has led implementation of multiple technology projects, centralizing and integrating all decision making on technology, training, educational materials, formulary standardization, medication management policies, workflows, EPIC build and standardization across the system for the pharmacy enterprise. He was directly responsible for the planning and opening of a 102,000 square foot Central Pharmacy Services Center (CPSC) in 2024, designed to expand services through improved infrastructure and efficiencies, ultimately increasing access to ongoing quality care.

Prior to joining Baptist Health System Nilesh spent 21 years with Hackensack University Medical Center/Hackensack Meridian Health in New Jersey, as administrator of pharmacy and clinical operations in addition to numerous other pharmacy leadership roles. He is a recipient of The Gregory A. Santora New Jersey Pharmacist Leadership of the Year Award and HealthTrust Clinical Excellence Award for Transitions of Care. He has presented at many conferences nationally, participated in many studies, and is a member of many national, regional and local pharmacy practice committees. Nilesh holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Pharmacy and a Masters in Business Administration (Healthcare). He is also a Certified Professional in Patient Safety.

Abhinav “Abhi” Rastogi is the President and CEO of Temple University Hospital and EVP of Temple Health. He has a proven leadership around operational efficiency initiatives with sustained outcomes and results. He is a forward thinking, solutions focused and outcomes driven leader who combines project management, Lean Six Sigma methodologies, data analytics and leadership to execute strategic clinical and operational improvement initiatives. He has a strong background in leading and growing clinical service lines and was instrumental in the growth of the Temple Lung Transplant program to the top volume program in the country. In addition, he oversees Solid Organ Transplants, Cardiology, Neurology, Gastroenterology, Lab, Pharmacy and Supply Chain service lines. His strong focus on Supply Chain operations has contributed to over $10M savings annually and has presented supply chain efficiency opportunities at several national conferences.

Due to his strong technical background, Abhi works with Healthcare Tech startups to be able to provide better solutions to patients / providers and offer Temple University Hospital as an incubator for development and research. The recent Broncoscopic Lung Volume Reduction (BLVR) valve approved for commercial use was evaluated in most patients at Temple. In addition, he focuses on remote monitoring of patients with connected devices to evaluate care and improve outcomes.

Abhi has an MBA with a concentration in eBusiness and Healthcare Finance, MS degree in Information Systems and Bachelor of Engineering degree in Electronics/Computers. He is also a certified Project Management Professional and a Master Black Belt in Lean Six Sigma. During his 19 years at Temple, Abhi has served as director of the Project Management Office, Associate Hospital Director of the Pulmonary Service Line, and Senior Vice President Professional Services. Before that, he was a pharmaco-economic data analyst at Temple University’s School of Pharmacy, a consultant for IBM, and a project team leader at Tata Infotech.

As System Pharmacy and Radiology Service Line Administrator for Baptist Memorial Health Care Corporation (BMHCC) Jillian Foster provides strategic direction to the BMHCC pharmacy teams at all Baptist hospitals, infusion centers, retail pharmacies, home infusion, mail order and specialty pharmacy in Missouri, Tennessee, and Arkansas. She also works with Radiology leaders and Imaging locations across the system on growth and patient care opportunities. Jillian graduated from the University of Mississippi School of Pharmacy after completing a Health Policy Fellowship with United States Senator Thad Cochran. She also completed a Pharmacy Practice Residency (PGY1) and Specialty Residency (PGY2) with an emphasis in Pharmacy Management and Administration at North Mississippi Medical Center (NMMC) in Tupelo, MS. She has an MBA from the University of Mississippi. She worked in Tupelo as the Pharmacy Benefits Manager at NMMC before moving to Oxford, MS as the Director of Pharmacy for Baptist Memorial Hospital- North Mississippi. She later held leadership positions at Baptist Medical Group and the Baptist Cancer Center before moving to the Baptist Corporate office. Jillian served on the Phi Lambda Sigma National Executive Committee as Parliamentarian. She is Past President of the Mississippi Pharmacists Association and the Mississippi Society of Health System Pharmacy. Jillian is currently serving on the Mississippi Board of Pharmacy. She and her husband, Doug, live in Olive Branch, MS and enjoy many church, community, and sports activities with their three children.

As Vice President of Marketing for Omnicell, Dennis Wright is responsible for leading Marketing efforts for Omnicell’s comprehensive portfolio of robotics, smart devices, software, and expert services. These solutions are designed to deliver clinical and operational outcomes, while enabling the transformation needed to achieve the industry vision of the Autonomous Pharmacy. Mr. Wright holds a bachelor’s degree from Thiel College and an MBA focused on marketing from The University of Pittsburgh, Katz School of Business.

As Senior Director of Clinical Marketing and Thought Leadership at Omnicell, Lani Bertrand works closely with our customers and industry partners to advance the vision of the Autonomous Pharmacy and how technology-driven medication management can enhance clinical and operational outcomes. Lani brings a keen understanding of the healthcare environment, with extensive experience in business development, medical affairs, GPO, and consulting, to help identify opportunities to achieve clinical and financial goals. Her Pharmacy network and Medical Affairs engagements contribute broadly to provider education, practice advancement, and healthcare optimization. Lani received a degree in Pharmacy from the University of Wisconsin School of Pharmacy and holds Apexus 340B certification and Miller Heiman & Challenger Sales certificates.
